Gig Poster: Odd Future
— Sep 12, 2012
Poster for Odd Future, known for the manic vibe of their live show as well as their aggressively weird and weirdly aggressive lyrical themes, amongst other things. Particularly inspired by the mental image of EarlWolf, the image is meant to feel violent, off-kilter, and entirely comfortable with its own grossness.

Semi-comp drawing. 14″ x 17″ non-photo blue pencil (edited out) and ink on bristol.

In-progress shot of the second layer.
Flooded with fire.

I enjoy how well the textures melded with the line work.
